Holy crap I haven't done this in a while. Well I'm in this class and I got so freakin bored that I started reminiscing of the old days on the Chuckie V. So somehow i ended up on
Confidential Misanthropy. Don't ask me how but I did. So I started reading on the adventures of Matt and then I remembered I have a damn blogspot too.
Well first of all let me update you on what I've been up too. If you didn't know yet by going to
MO's blog, I did make 2nd class. Which was great. Let's see where did I leave off at. Oh yeah, WOW! It's been a while. Ok well I finally became what I joined the NAVY for. Yes a real IT. Well I did start off helping BT on the Vinson, but then i got sent down to adp where I could really do some dammage ( which I did by the way). Um life on the Vinson really wasn't looking too great still. I can't remember much of anything anymore. I mean I did try to forget that point in my life. I guess it was jus not that important anymore. You know since everyone that I acctually gave a damn about left. I think out of all the people that were left up in radio Harris was the one left out of the Christal Chronicles and FFXI era. I kinda just started hanging with all the adp guys just cause it sucked up in radio. It's like all the smart people left and just left idiots up there. It just wasn't the same.
Yes I did Re-enlist. And yes ENS Ware did it. You know he wasn't acctually that bad after smiley left.
Well After the Vinson I got me orders back here to Texas where I was born (thanks to IT1 Downing which helped me get the order. By the way KKK decided to take the credit for it).
Ok so Sept. of last year I got on the mighty Uss Pelican. This place just shows me how the Navy can just waist money on useless crap. Oh by the way BT, I understand what you mean by going to the small navy isn't better. All it is, is just more work. Granted It has helped me with learning more about my rating. Oh yea, and every other freakin ratin in the navy. Considering the fact that not only do I have to do my job but I have to do things like linehandling. What the hell is linehandling? Oh yea, it's that thing my rate has nothing to do with.
But anyway, there is some kind of fun here. I have found some good friends here. Here's a little bit about them.
Wiggins- he's my boy, he was on the chuckie v too.
Stanford- well he's my lpo. One of those guys that you think (how the hell did he make first class)
Then you have Parker- Fellow IT2 and roomate. We pretty much control everything. If you know anything about my attitude you'll know what I'm talking about.
Scott- he's our go to ET.
Neblett- Bruce Leroy, need I say more.
Everything here just reminds me why the hell I want to get out the navy. Man you think you got it bad BT. Well let me tell you. So far while I've been here (keep in mind this is a command of about 4o people at most), had 3 COs. One of them got fired. One guy thought he saw dead people, one guy died, plenty of raging alchoholics, a couple of people talking about killing themselves, plenty of J.O.'s that don't have a clue of what they are doing. Oh and did I mention that this ship is completly useless. We can't even leave the pier for one hour before the ship breaks down, and im not talking something small, im talking about engineering casualties. So if i was you i'd keep my hopes up.
Well thats been my life for the past year. Isn't it great. Makes you feel better about yourself.
